In September of 2011, I was invited by 3S Artspace to participate in a group installation at the Nevada Motel in York Beach, Maine. Twenty-one artists were assigned each of the hotel's 21 guest rooms to install a one-night interactive show.
"My Window" used both video projection and large format photographic prints to explore the world I've seen through windows, looking both in and out. The video, a 2-minute time lapse of the view from my Seoul apartment, was projected onto the room's large glass picture window, and was visible both inside the room and from the courtyard below. Inside the room, ten photographs from my Window collection were suspended in mid-air as "windows" looking out into small vignettes of life behind glass.
